Heavenly Threads Thrift Shop is Now Open!

The First Congregational Church of Camden is pleased to welcome the public back to the Heavenly Threads Thrift Shop located at 57 Elm Street, Camden, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 5 pm each day. Please help us spread the word.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! ALL KINDS OF JOBS, SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE—DO COME HELP—Just show up on Wednesdays. Wednesday shifts 10–1 and 1–4.

We have a work party on Tuesday mornings from 8 am—12 noon to prepare for the week. Volunteers are needed and welcome for work party days and also when the shop is open. Volunteer shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays are from 10 am–1 pm and 1 pm–5 pm. There are volunteer jobs for everyone. Come when you can and we’ll put you to work.

Donations are now being accepted in person on Tuesdays from 9 am–12 noon and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm. While we appreciate all donations, when bringing clothes we kindly request that you bring only winter clothes in good condition at this time. We also welcome household goods, collectibles, arts, crafts, toys, yarn, linens and anything else you can imagine, and then some.

We are extremely grateful for the community’s support during our reopening period. We are excited about the upcoming fall, winter and holiday seasons and look forward to seeing you soon.
